Ned Lamont beat Joe Lieberman in the Senate primary in Connecticut last night. Wow. Huge. I hope this means we can throw the bums out this fall.

Red Sox lose again. My bad feeling for this season gets worse and worse. The injuries have been horrific, but everyone had injuries-that's no excuse. The Yankees win this year, period.

Argh.

Red Sox were off last night, so no bad news on that front. We better sweep Kansas City and hope the Yankees falter. I don't think the Yankees are going to falter.

Just finished reading Jack Weatherford's book about Genghis Khan. Interesting stuff. He mentions that Bin Laden and Saddam used the example of Khan and the Mongols to describe the Americans in derogatory terms.
