It strikes me that the NJ Six Case, which I am only now just learning about due to my stay in Hotel Illness, refutes two pillars of the Republican platform-

"We're fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here"-

and-

"Terrorism is a military problem, not a law enforcement problem."
