I've been watching a lot of paranoid Youtube videos about the New World Order and how the coterie of bankers and elites control everything. I don't believe it, but I don't entirely disbelieve it, either.
But vote tomorrow.
Maybe it doesnt make a difference, I don't know.
But I have to believe that it matters. I think Obama is the better man. You're entitled to disagree. I think you're wrong, but you can disagree.
But vote.
Vote for the men who suffered and died in Valley Forge.
Just vote. It's too precious to throw away.

ReplyDeleteI only deleted my previous comment because I used poor grammar...to the point where it could not be deciphered!
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for the first time today. Its scarier than a gynocologist appointment. At least "I" don't have to do anything at the Gyno...I have to press...you know...BUTTONS and things voting in a bit. Gosh!
I've had that "Seeker" song in my head for a few days now, thanks to you. The problem is, I can't remember the Who version. I only know the version by Fish (yes, Fish, with an F). And like so much of what Fish has done, it is hard to imagine anything better.
ReplyDeleteDM- My pleasure. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou don't mean Phish? I have heard of Phish, but not Fish. I mean, I've heard of the TV show, Fish, and the omega 3-rich foodstuff fish, but I've never heard of a band called Fish.
I was hoping you'd get the reference.
Katie- (inappropriate reference deleted.)
Fish is a guy. He did a CD called "Songs from the Mirror", that contains a cover of "Seeker". The CD is now rare.
ReplyDeleteFish was the lead singer for Marillion. That is how he is most famous. Marillion (when Fish was with the band) sounded a lot like early Genesis.
I remember Marillion! They opened for Iron Maiden at one point during the 1980s, I believe.
ReplyDeleteI guess you do learn something new every day, huh?
Yes, that Marillion. Fish was the lead singer then.
ReplyDeleteIn the US, their biggest hit was probably "Kayleigh".
