Today in Minnesota, the Red Sox were shut down, shut up, tied up, and tied down by the Twins' Francisco Liriano in an 8-0 whitewash. Liriano threw 96 pitches, allowing 4 hits over the first seven innings while the Twins hammered Old Man Wakefield.
The team limps home at 4-5 to face Tampa Bay at Fenway tomorrow.
