Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying

Crazy Sam, who may not be, technically, crazy, but who is almost certainly named Sam, has posted 9 questions because it's, you know, Saturday. And what's better on a Saturday than questions? Several hundred things, I know. But still.

1. When was the last time you cried?

I can't remember. It was probably during a disagreement.
2. If you could wake up tomorrow with a new talent, what would it be?

Playing the piano and guitar. However, if I could do that, onlookers would probably wish I had picked singing.
3. Who is someone (other than yourself) would you like to go back into your past and talk to and why?

Into my past? I would apologize to people I have wronged, closer to the time that I wronged them, and try to make amends. Into the past in general? Napoleon or Benjamin Franklin.

4. What is your favorite meal eating out?

I'm really pretty open to anything, restaurant wise. Which explains a lot.
5. Do you feel energized or drained by being in a group situation? If the answer is "it depends," on what does it depend?

Drained.
6. What word do you use far too frequently?

Indeed.
7. What’s a word you’ve invented? (alternate question: What needs a word but doesn’t have one yet?)

Hmmmmm. I don't know if there's a word I've come up with. I think I need a word for that feeling I get all too rarely when I have free time, and want to do four different things all at once.
8. Pick out one of your favorite songs. Go to Song Facts and tell us about the song's history.

I didn't like this question, only because the entries on the website are kind of fragmentary. I went with one of my least favorite songs from my favorite artist, Billy Joel-"Just The Way You Are". The only real reason I don't like it is that I have heard it SO many times over the years.  I do like the song facts for this song, though.

"Joel wrote this song about his first wife, Elizabeth. He gave it to her as a birthday present. After 9 years of marriage, Joel divorced Elizabeth in 1982."

This won Grammys for Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year in 1978. It was a breakthrough hit for Joel."

It was the first single off of The Stranger, his most successful album and one of the most successful albums in Columbia Records history.
9. What is your absolute favorite piece of furniture you have and why?

Bed. Duh.
