Game 151: Getting It Done

Until the playoff spot is locked up, winning is all that matters-and win the Red Sox did, 9-2 last night in the Heartland of America. Josh Beckett was subjected to a 12 hit pounding, but wound up only allowing the 2 runs while the Large Father induced a souvenir and knocked in 4 teammates to help seal the win. Boston has one more game with the Royales, then travels to the Boogie Down for the final three episodes of Athens vs. Sparta. After that, it's home for the Jays and the Napoleons, and then it's time for only one October baseball-the playoffs.
