Stunningly Good

This American Life, from WBEZ in Chicago, produced another brilliant program this week called "The Watchmen", investigating, in really easy to understand language, the roots of the financial crisis. Well worth an hour.

  1. Have you watched the Google Wave introduction yet?

  2. I have not. I watched Leo Laporte talk about it on twit.tv briefly, and I didn't get the gist, exactly. I'll have to go do that.

But both this program (The Watchmen), and their earlier effort (The Giant Pool of Money) are fascinating, even if you haven't followed the news.

  3. Thanks! I'll check it out. This reminds me of another Public Radio piece I loved - Bad Bank. Really entertaining, but educational trip through toxic asset, bank balance sheets, subprime mortgages, and how we go here. Public Radio does some awesome stuff.
